Go Local Online focuses on local search marketing as it applies to local businesses as well as to practitioners in the local searching marketing field. Go Local Online evolved from the EagleCo Project which focused on putting a small town on the digital map.
Topics being explored include:
- Bridging the digital divide between local businesses and the online resources they could use to generate more revenue
- Application of new features in the online ecosystem such as Google+ collections and Twitters Periscope
- How to educate local businesses and key decision makers such as economic development professionals concerning how local search works and how to take advantage of it
